BidCo Auctioneers (Pty) Ltd – one of Gauteng’s top auctioneering and asset management companies, with annual sales exceeding R100 million – has a solid background of more than ten years’ growth through the provision of exemplary service to its customers.

Launched as a one-man business in 1993, the company rose to prominence as the independently functioning Pretoria-based regional subsidiary of a nationwide group. In 2003 the directors and management of the subsidiary bought out the equity held in it by the nationwide group, to establish a fully independent company under the name of BidCo Auctioneers (Pty) Ltd. They took advantage of the change to restructure the company in line with the reality of South Africa, by bringing in one of the country’s most experienced and best known Black auctioneers as an equity-holder and executive Chairman.

The larger and more broad- based auction house thereby created, strides into the future with the confidence of a well- established business combined with the innovativeness of a demographically representative entity.
