Aucor’s auction schedule for 2012 gets off to a busy start next week, with one of the first major sales of the year being a repo trucks and park homes auction, scheduled for Thursday 19 January 2012.

Buyers in the market for repo trucks and construction equipment can choose from a selection of graders, excavators, trucks, tippers, mechanical horses, semi trailers, vehicles, forklifts, TLBs and wheel loaders.  “We have a good variety of stock due to a continuous intake of items during November and December. 

We’ve been instructed by the banks and liquidators to sell directly to the public via auction and we’re expecting the first major sale to be a bumper one,” says Aucor MD Darren Winterstein.At the same time a large range of park homes will come onto the auction block. 

 “At the moment we have 50 units, ranging from 18m²  and 36m² site offices to 32m² park homes with patio and 47m² park homes with lounge, kitchen and bathroom areas,” Winterstein says.  “We also have several two and four-room combinations, a 120m² prefab building and numerous 16m² six-toilet ablutions.”  He adds that all units are sold in knockdown form and come with assembly instructions for easy transport.

The hammer will come down on the first lot at 10:30 sharp on Thursday 19 January at Samrand Business Park, Sterling Rd, Midrand. 

On the same day, but moving to a new location, a mart auction of  household and office furniture, branded appliances and automation will also start at 10:30. 

 Anything and everything from bedroom suites, dining and occasional furniture, home office or study, living and lounge and outdoor and patio furniture is on offer.  Adding to this selection are branded LED and LCD televisions and a wide range of washing machines, dishwashers, double-door and side-by-side fridges and freezers, ovens, hobs, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners, laptops, microwaves, printers and fax machines and much more!
